Elizabeth Graves Peter Second Wife of Jesse Peter Old Peters Cemetery
For many years this headstone has been lost to time, this is a triple stone (restored by the daughter of Jesse Peter) Elizabeth's inscription faced a tree and could not be seen until we attempted to clean the stone as you can see the obelisk is missing, we could not locate it, the top may be broken or missing. This is in the Old Peters Cemetery (not to be confused with the Mackvillle Peters Cemetery) it is located on a hill top behind two locked gates and a half mile west of Whitehall Road, we hunted for this cemetery two years before we found it.
