Old Records indicate there was a steam powered sawmill on the 100 acres near Timber Creek. The sawmill was owned by the "Graves Brothers" that would have been Edward Willis Graves, William Fisher Graves and Thomas Bushrod Graves. The other two brother, James Edgar Graves was in Newton County Mississippi and Benjamin F Graves lived near Buford in Ohio County Kentucky.
